Multilateral Security in
Communications

16-17 July 1999

Stuttgart, Germany
Haus der Wirtschaft

No Business in Internet without Security

Security in the information society is no longer just a matter of technical solutions, but is an essential element of technically mediated communication:

  1. Everyone has individual security interests.
  2. Everyone should be able to define these security interests.
  3. Conflicts should be recognized and settled.
  4. The negotiated results should be reliably enforceable.

Multilateral Security reconciles the interests of all parties involved. The Kolleg "Security in Communication Technology" supported by the Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz Foundation has worked out solutions which will be presented at this conference.
